Terms of service

Effective date: 17 April 2026

These Terms govern your use of weenorth (“the platform”), operated by Silentechs Ltd. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally capable of entering a binding contract under Ghanaian law. Artisans and sellers must provide truthful identity and business information for KYC.

2. Roles on the platform

  • Buyers (clients) browse, message, review, save, and post jobs.
  • Artisans publish a verified profile, portfolio, and receive jobs. Visibility requires an active annual subscription.
  • Sellers operate a storefront with products. Listing and featuring require an active annual subscription.
  • Admins are platform staff (Silentechs) and WEE-North field officers who moderate content, approve profiles, and manage disputes.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Artisan and seller accounts pay a small annual subscription processed via Hubtel. Subscriptions auto-terminate at the period end unless renewed; we do not auto-charge. Subscriptions are non-refundable except where mandated by Ghanaian consumer-protection law. Pricing is displayed at checkout and can change with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.

4. Transactions between users

weenorth does not process buyer-to-seller payments. Any sale, price, delivery, or refund is agreed directly between the two parties. We assist with dispute information requests but we are not a party to those transactions.

5. Content you publish

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant weenorth a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform and in SEO surfaces (search engines, OpenGraph previews) solely to operate the service. You represent that you have the rights to the content you upload and that it is not infringing, defamatory, deceptive, hateful, obscene, or illegal.

6. Prohibited conduct

  • Impersonating other people, brands, or public officials.
  • Listing counterfeit, stolen, or illegal goods or services.
  • Harassment, threats, or discriminatory content.
  • Scraping, reverse-engineering, or abusing our APIs.
  • Circumventing subscription gating or admin moderation.

7. Dispute resolution

Complaints can be filed via the in-app Complaints surface. We may investigate, request information from either party, and suspend accounts where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for a material breach of these Terms, for risk to other users, or where required by law. You can delete your account at any time under Settings → Delete account. Termination does not refund active subscription periods.

9. Warranties & liability

The platform is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Silentechs disclaims all implied warranties. Our aggregate liability to you is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Ghanaian law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. The courts of Accra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

11. Changes

We will post any material change to these Terms at this URL and email account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
